Tsarin da Ka'idar Aiki:
Na'urar gwajin kwararar narkewa wani nau'in na'urar auna filastik ne. A ƙarƙashin takamaiman yanayin zafin jiki, ana dumama samfurin da za a gwada zuwa yanayin narkewa ta hanyar tanda mai zafi. Sannan ana fitar da samfurin narkewa ta cikin ƙaramin rami mai diamita da aka ƙayyade a ƙarƙashin nauyin da aka ƙayyade. A cikin samar da filastik na masana'antu da binciken cibiyoyin bincike na kimiyya, ana amfani da "yawan kwararar narkewa (taro)" sau da yawa don wakiltar ruwa, danko da sauran halayen jiki na kayan polymer a cikin yanayin narkewa. Abin da ake kira ma'aunin narkewa yana nufin matsakaicin nauyin kowane sashe na samfurin fitarwa da aka canza zuwa adadin fitarwa a cikin mintuna 10.
Ana nuna na'urar auna yawan kwararar narkewa (taro) ta hanyar MFR, tare da na'urar: grams a kowace minti 10 (g/min).

Misali:
An yanke rukunin samfuran filastik a kowane daƙiƙa 30, kuma sakamakon nauyin kowane sashe shine: gram 0.0816, gram 0.0862, gram 0.0815, gram 0.0895, gram 0.0825.
Matsakaicin ƙimar m = (0.0816 + 0.0862 + 0.0815 + 0.0895 + 0.0825) ÷ 5 = 0.0843 (grams)
A maye gurbin dabarar: MFR = 600 × 0.0843 / 30 = 1.686 (grams a cikin minti 10)
